JSC Novokuibyshevsk Refinery is located in the Samara Region and has been part of the Samara Refinery Group of Rosneft since 2007.
The Novokuybyshevsky Refinery was put into operation in 1951. It was at this plant that the first production of many types of products was mastered in the country: jet fuel, oils for rocket launchers and cars, etc.
The designed capacity of the enterprise is 8.8 million tons of oil. The refinery processes Orenburg and West Siberian crude oil, as well as crude oil produced by the Company in the Samara region. The plant's secondary processing facilities include catalytic cracking, delayed coking, catalytic reforming, isomerization, kerosene and diesel fuel hydrotreatment, bitumen and gas fractionation units.
Crude oil is delivered to the refineries by pipeline, it is shipped by rail, pipeline, water and road. About 30 types of products are shipped to many regions of Russia and the neighboring countries.
JSC Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery is one of the main producers and suppliers of fuel for jet engines of the highest grade, the most popular in Russia.
Since December 2014, a reforming unit with continuous CCR catalyst regeneration and a PGI-DIG/280-NK isomerization unit has successfully operated.
In 2018, investments were made in the construction of a hydrocracking and hydrotreating complex with general facilities, implementation of projects to improve operational efficiency, and design work on other investment projects to upgrade the plant. The launch of the hydrocracking complex will significantly increase the depth of oil refining at JSC NK Refinery and increase the yield of light oils.
In early 2019, JSC Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery's river terminal on the Volga River introduced an ultra-precise oil product measurement system (UOPMS) designed to determine the weight and quality of commercial products shipped by river transport. The implementation of ultra-precise metering systems for commercial shipments is one of the key activities of the NK Refinery as part of the program to create a digital refinery of the Rosneft-2022 Strategy.
The quality of all products is guaranteed by the existing quality management system, which complies with the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2015.
